Pois é pessoal aqui vamos nós para a segunda mão da eliminatória da Taça UEFA, com a esperança de passar à fase de grupos.

Depois do resultado do primeiro jogo, as contas são muitissimo mais complicadas mas a esperança continua, não fosse a fé que o Vitória possa fazer uma reviravolta que nos levasse até à Holanda para o apoiar.

Assim devido ao facto de a partir de 3ª Feira de madrugada seguir ON TOUR para a Holanda para apoiar o nosso Mágico Vitória será impossivel actualizar a página principal do site.

Por isso as actualizações do site, e em especial aqui neste tópico os assuntos relacionados com este jogo serão actualizadas as notícias aqui no fórum até ao dia do regresso.

Want to let you know that you still can have hopes to go to the next round!! You had your chances at "home" and if you score in Heerenveen, you may know I am not certain we can manage
I was at the away game yesterday, and after the Cup game last Thursday, it was not good. It was bad!! They play very defensive, but with no confidence. They cant score! They even missed a penalty, well and the opponent didnt, so it was 1-0. You must know it was in 94 min

Well, playing that defensive maybe it will be difficult for Vitoria to score too. Not scoring for us is not that bad, if you do not either.
But I realy will not sit very comfertable, you can be sure of that.
For us I do hope we can defend the 3-0, but for you I think you still can keep faith.
We are equal, so you still have a chance!

For all the people who go there, have a nice trip and stay!!
I would be glad to meet some of you in front of the stadium before the game. I keep in contact with Yekini, so maybe I see him and you on Thursday next!!

FORÇA VITORIA

Hello, I am just back from the game Heerenveen-Setubal. It ended in 0-0.
As expected, but maybe for some of you wished differently, Heerenveen reached the next round. Groupphase, draw on Tuesday 3rd October.
It was a bad performance of Heerenveen, bad passing and bad finishing of our strikers. Maybe Setubal deserved a penalty in 4th minute, I couldnt see right, and they had a handfull of (little) chances. I didnt had the idea they realy want to score, but maybe they were not capable of doing more. I saw a defender was changed for a striker, so the coach did try to make it more attacking. Result at the end was no score on both sides.

I think there were approx. 30 persons, who did try to support there team by singing, but they were overruled by our New North side
Before the game I had a meeting with Yekini and his friends.
I got present from him for which I want to thank him again here on the board. I will wear the shirt VIII Exercito and the scarf with pride. It is a very worthy present to remember you! The fans of Setubal I met are great guys!! For you I am very sorry you didnt manage to go through.
I wish you good luck in competition and manage to reach UEFA again!!
